BIO

Tom Mangione is a versatile creative and math educator based in central OH.

In 2017, he worked with Lexington band Brothers X Sisters as a music director, synth programmer and keyboardist on their album "Heaven on Earth," which is now streaming on iTunes and Spotify.

In early 2018, he worked as a songwriter, synth programmer, keyboardist, and audio editor on the Asbury Worship Collective’s “The Journey” album, which released in August of 2018. During this time, he also independently released a single, “Raveling,” available wherever music is streamed or digitally sold.

In late 2018, he joined Lexington/Nashville band “Romantic Relevance,” and began production on Asbury Worship Collective’s 2019 EP, “Ascender,” released March 15, 2019. He produced all tracks on Ascender alongside Bailey Rasmussen. He continues to start new projects and partner with more musicians, and is the frontman of the Ohio-based band Mayglow, of which he has produced, recorded, and mixed all tracks.

In 2020, Romantic Relevance released “What These Years Felt Like, Pt. 1,” which was produced, mixed, and mastered by Tom. He also played keyboard and programmed synths on its follow-up EP.

Not only trained in audio, he also is skilled as a photographer, camera op, and photo editor. He shares his photography on his instagram.

He served as creative director at Vineyard Community Church in Lexington, KY from the summer of 2019 until April of 2020, leading the church’s music and creative team.

In 2021, Tom began a Masters of Education program at Xavier University to gain licensure as a high school math teacher to put a lifelong passion for mathematics to good use. In late 2021, he began working with Connections Academics to tutor students in the Cincinnati metro area in higher level mathematics, as well teaching at McNicholas High school in the 2022-2023 school year.

As of 2023, he is working at Columbus Preparatory Academy teaching high school mathematics, pioneering a full curriculum scope and sequence to raise test scores while working on a forthcoming album with Woven Church after a successful community fundraiser.
